Rethinking and reforming the way we do church
With all that has been going on in the west, many think that the Church is in trouble.
We’ve seen...
- church closures.
- Pastors losing their jobs.
- Governments forbidding Christians to assemble in church buildings. Etc.
But despite what we’re seeing, the Church is not in trouble at all.
Jesus assured us in the gospels that the gates of hell would not prevail against His Church.
So, what is going on then?
Well, I read a meme/quote on social media this week that sums it up nicely:
“God’s Church isn’t in trouble. Man’s church is.”
And what this means is that it's time for us (believers in the West) to rethink and reform the way we do church. It starts now.
