E21: How Satan Targets You As a Christian Entrepreneur

Published on: 15th October, 2018

Lessons from the life of Job

You've probably heard more than once that God has a wonderful plan for your life, right?

But have you ever heard that the Devil also has a plan for your life?

It's true.

As a Christian Entrepreneur, you are on the Devil's hit list. Satan has targeted you in order to neutralize you, your business, and your effectiveness for God's kingdom.

Using the story of Job, as well as our own experiences, this episode will teach you how the enemy proceeds to neutralize you - and, if possible, destroy you.

This will not only give you solid scriptural knowledge, but it will also equip you by strengthening your faith, and teach you how you can fight back and endure.

As you will see, the devil may be a roaring lion, but with God in charge, you're far from being a sitting duck!

In This Episode You Will:

Learn why Christian Entrepreneurs, like you, are Satan's favorite prey.

♦ Learn how Satan operates right before he strikes.

♦ Get powerful insight on what it means when Jesus says "Satan asked to sift you all as wheat".

♦ Understand how God allows these attacks on your life to better equip you, sanctify you, and ultimately bless you.

Memorable Quotes:

"Satan’s main goal is to keep believers fruitless and ineffective for God’s kingdom."

"Satan rarely attacks you for what you are now. He most often attacks you for what you might become."

"Looking back, I now know the enemy was behind much of these attacks on my mind because he wanted me out of the picture permanently. He most probably knew where I was going to be later – today. In hindsight, I totally understand why he wanted me dead." - Sebastien Richard

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.” (John [10:10])

"It is safe to say, that perhaps aside from the Lord Jesus Christ, Job’s suffering was one of the worse in all of history."

"One aspect of Job that is seldom taught is that he, like you, like us, was an entrepreneur. He was a very godly and successful entrepreneur."

"The devil wants to attack those with impact. He will not waste his time or resources on anyone who does not now, or will not in the future, have an impact."

"Whenever you are hungry, angry, lonely, or tired… be cautious, you are most probably being watched and targeted too! This makes you vulnerable."

"Your fear of God is what will keep that hedge of protection strong around you."

We can almost sense Satan’s frustration when he utters these words to God: “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land.”

“You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!” (James [2:19])

"Don’t you go thinking that only faith champions like Job and Peter get claimed to be sifted. If you are all out for God, the enemy will claim to sift you as well!"

"The devil wants to shake you up, shut you up, and shut you out! He wants to silence your voice, your impact, your ministry."

"As much as I hate to admit it, Satan is a very good sniper. He loves to aim for the head. More precisely… for YOUR mind."

"As Christian entrepreneurs, our mindset is our greatest asset. The devil knows this."

"Satan knew that if he could affect Job’s circumstances to the extreme, he could defeat his mindset. It wasn’t about destroying his possessions. It was about destroying his mind."

“All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy. That's how far the world is from where I am. Just one bad day.” - The Joker (The Killing Joke)

"If he allows the enemy to come after you, God will restore you."

“I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten— the great locust and the young locust, the other locusts and the locust swarm - my great army that I sent among you. You will have plenty to eat, until you are full, and you will praise the name of the Lord your God, who has worked wonders for you.” (Joel 2: 25-26)
